During the annual Consortium member’s meeting – held in Milan on May 15th – the President presented the data recorded in the past year. In terms of export, the Taleggio maintained the positive trend of the previous years, with a +8.8% increase compared to 2017, thus recording the best year for Taleggio export ever.
Moreover, he highlighted that – upon data analysis – exports represent 25% of overall production (2,200 out of 8,800 metric tons). Its main foreign markets are Germany, France, and the U.S.A.
Production remained stable compared to previous years.
